Let me introduce you to the Lachmere Birman household. We are Richard and Angie Walker,we live in Stafford with our 18 year old son, Tom. We are both members of the Birman Cat Club and Angie is UK Co-ordinater of the Birman Cat Club Welfare & Rescue.
Although we have only been breeding and showing Birmans for ten years, we have been owned by Birmans for over 19 years. Our oldest Birman was Zoe who was almost 19 years old when she joined her brother Ben,who sadley died in 2007 aged 18. They both left a massive hole in our lives, they will always be in our hearts.
We have 6 adult Birmans, they all live as part of the family indoors. We are not big breeders, more cat lovers that breed. We love every minute of raising our kittens and having them around the home. We have made some wonderful friends in their new owners. Look on 'meet the family' page for more pictures.

Lachmere waiting for her babies
Advenlo Lachmere was our foundation queen and all of our Lachmere Birmans are from her line which is why we chose Lachmere as our prefix. Lachmere is now 11 years old and her breeding days are over.
Lachmeres' first litter of 2 kittens, Trinity and Rosie, were born in July 2000, we kept them both! Unfortunatly they were registered before we had our prefix and so have the GCCF prefix,Admillo. Trinity & Rosie are now 8 years old . Trinity had one litter and Rosie two. They have now been spayed, and enjoy a life of pampered luxury.
We have raised a few more beautiful litters since Trinity and Rosie, many of which have included show kittens, five are now champions and one a grand champion. You can see pictures of some of them on the show and kitten pages.
